Weekend Moon School is a great option for families who need childcare on the weekends, or just want to experience one day of the Moon School magic before signing up for a week of camp. At Weekend Moon School we follow a similar rhythm to the Spring Break and Summer Camp days, but we meet from 10am-2pm. At each Weekend Moon School day, we make an herbal remedy and/or a craft to take home, with seasonal inspiration. Tuition for each workshop is $45 for 4 hours of childcare and materials. What to Expect
Expect a small group of less than 10 children, a warm, supportive, fun, caring space, time for play and exploration, time for group activities together crafting and making herbal remedies. The Moon School is a very nurturing, hands-on learning environment. Children need to arrive with appropriate clothing and gear for the weather (warm layers under rain gear for the winter and early spring/late fall, hats and sunscreen for the summer), as we are exposed to the elements during our time together and everyone needs to be comfortable in rain or shine. Children also need to arrive with a packed lunch and water bottle.
