The Moon School Summer Camp is a wonderland of learning through play, craft, exploration, story, music, and togetherness. We meet in an outdoor space in south Eugene that includes a play structure, a forest, a creek, and walking trails. We begin our day playing on the playground and in the sandbox, gather for a snack and story, take a walk through the forest and play along the creek, gather for herbal potion making time, eat lunch, and end our day with games until pickup time. Campers are expected to arrive dressed for the elements with a hat, sunscreen, shoes with heel strap, and a packed lunch.
4 days of the camp week we will meet in an outdoor space in south Eugene, and 1 day per week we will begin our camp day in a backyard garden, get to harvest herbs and flowers for our potions and crafts, and then we will walk to Friendly Park for play, lunch, and pickup.
