The Moon School Outdoor Preschool is a small preschool program with space for 8 children taught by one Waldorf trained teacher. We spend time outside daily, no matter the weather! Our program runs Monday-Friday 8:30-12:30 and we are currently enrolling for 5-day contracts.
Our weekly rhythm follows a typical Waldorf routine:
Monday: painting
Tuesday: woodworking
Wednesday: handwork and fiber arts
Thursday: stone soup and beeswax
Friday: baking
At Moon School, we fill our days with sweetness as we connect with seasonal rhythms, take walks around our neighborhood, visit our nearby meadow, and make everything by hand - from our backpack hooks to the woolen mittens we wear all winter! We prioritize learning about being a good neighbor and community member and work towards being responsible, kind, helpful young humans in the world.
